connection problem

Hi I am getting a error message that says:Network Problem!
Connection Problem. You could try to start the chat again, Sorry. (T)

Can someone help me on this ASAP. By the way a friend of mine can go on the XAT ChatBox (where problem occurs) and talk to people but I can't. I click friend and visitor tabs and still blank and i tried to type and I get the same message.

did you install a firewall?

try a system restore to when it was working.

No it's never worked. I have a windows firewall and I turned it off but still no luck

How are you connecting to the internet?

connecting to the internet isnt a problem with me either - just the chatrooms - cant get in to any. Listed everything i tried to do to get around it in the "chatbox" forum. Nothing is working. i even thought maybe verizon was blocking certain addresses, but a friend who has it can get right on - dont know what else to try.

So you got ADSL normal broadband?

Sounds like you have a firewall running ?
