View Full Version : "$tealth mode" busted
Hello,
I have a feature request and it has to do with the stealth mode ...
I love this feature but it has a flaw.
Most of my moderators now know that I'm in stealth mode, because when they "add me as friend" when I'm using my normal name, they can see my stealth name in their "friends list" when I'm in stealth mode.
So my request would be : can it be made possible that owners who use the stealth mode ($) won't show up in friends lists?
I don't think that should be too hard to do.
Please consider my request,
EmZu

The mods are able to see that the Ban button in your account isnt clickable, so disabling Bold-Names while stealthing wouldnt do any good. Also, the User IDs also would reveal yourself when stealthing, if anybody has yours written down.
Hello ACKirbachu, thanks for your reply,
You are absolutely right, but disabling Bold-Names while stealthing would make it quite difficult for the mods.
We have an average of about 30 people in the chat, with many new visitors coming in regularly, so the mods have to click on all of them to find the owner (me). And when they find me, and I change my name, they have to do it all over again.
Or maybe there is another way to be completely stealthy.
Maybe not to display the true User ID of the owner or other things I don't know about ...

well why can the admin make the mods do stealth mode that will be alwsome
I dont think you need stealth mode at all its kinda og worthless if you wanted the chat and wanted to run it then why do you have to hide yourself, also if your chat is popular then if they see your owner they will look up to you but if you stealth well then the will never no.

It's used to check up on mods when they dont think you're there. If they saw an owner they'd be on top-notch behavior, but if they just saw a bunch of guests they'd feel as if they're not watched.
