I don't recall what chat it was, but I did come across one site from the POPULAR list that implemented an automatic page redirect.

From the popular list, I clicked on a chat box, I was taken to the XAT page for a mili-second, and then redirected right to their website.

This could be used in a very bad way.

You might look into disallowing those kinds of redirects.

I honestly dont see how that was possible. If you scrolled up you would've probably still see the xat chat.

Could you link to the page so we could take a look at what we need to block?

It was definitely a redirect. New URL at the top of the page. Unfortunately I don't have the URL. All I remember is that it was a SPANISH site and that it was a radio site.

I'll see if I can come across it again; if I do I'll send you the URL.

Not the same one I saw a day or two ago, but you can see that it IS possible.

Btw, should we be reporting pages that deal with stealing MSN passwords (like the one above), hacking (I've seen a few), etc...?

If you put a redirect in your chat group page we delist you.

using javascript u can redirect the parent frame (original chat) and make it go to other pages, chris what do u mean by delist them? delete the chat or just take the off the popular chat list

By de-list, your chat will not appear in any group lists, including directory, meaning you can't get users.

Yeah you can give out the direct URL, but if your chat isn't on the
'featured' or 'popular' list then when you get people in your chat
other users wont be able to see it becuase you've been de-listed.
That would be bad to have like 50 people in your chat that you brought
their by giving out the URL but it wont be featured anywhere on Xat,
my point is you can get de-listed and give everyone a direct URL,
but the chances of your chat getting popular 0%.

Remove from popular list/directory. Only its URL works, its not listed though.
