Gaging/Muting Users Permanently or Temporarily...

Have you ever come across those users who don't quite deserve a ban, but need to be ignored by everyone? But right now you can't do that.

I suggest a Gag/Mute feature that allows chat staff to Permanently or Temporarily silence the user. Permanently would be for owners only and temporarily for moderators.

Staff would enter a reason and instead of the time being hours, it could be set to minutes instead. 0 would be permanently. Max for mods would be 120 minutes?

Ok what I'm getting from this is, you want mods to get the same thing as a ban but a new name, and have it be more limited? Silencing is the same as Banned. If we set this up mods would simply use the Ban feature to do 6 hours or less, as opposed to 120 minutes (2 hours).

If you want minutes you can type 0.1 for 6 minutes, or 0.5 for 30...

Oh, see, I thought when the user was banned, they were kicked from the chat and were not able to connect until the ban time had expired... I guess not?

why don't u make it so ppl stay banned even when reset and only the person who banned them can unban them, or a main, personally i hate it when someone gets unbanned even thought they are annoying
