Many people prefer to go to the "popular" groups like ignition, flirt or friendster and other ones like these, but what's the point? there's SO MANY PEOPLE, that you can't really chat, the only words you hear are "really","OMG" , "o.O" "f**" "uhh" "ure a n**b" and that's all you hear. you try to write a message and you press "enter", BUT you do not have time to read it, because it GETS "PUSHED OUT" OF THE CHATBOX BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE WRITE AT THE SAME TIME! If there's like 10-15 people on the chat, it's still normal, becuse you can focus and really TALK, but on the "'popular" ones... It can be a struggle... (im not trying to say these groups are bad im trying to say when there's too many people, it becomes hard to chat)
p.s. Oh yeah, on the popular chats there's ALWAYS about 20 guests with the "standart" names like foofieMush that do no say anything and I wonder what they're doing. Just watching other people??

Some people like popular rooms, they are quick readers and can chat even in big rooms.
Also the standard people are probably on the chat when it's embeded on a site and dont realise it's there, so they dont click their name to change it or even talk.

they might have just logged into chats like pulse radio, to listen to the music

Im a quick reader too but I dont think anyone can read when sometimes 5 -10 messages pop on the screen...

Sometimes it does lag and freeze then theres like 100 new messages. Thats happened before, but not 100 really, don't believe that.. unless your gullible, mostly 30...

Once I saw 63 people on one chat. Is that even possible to have that many people on one chat.

Yes, the chat limit is somewhere like 1,000 or 10,000.

Then if that is possible then xat should make a chat where all members of xat go on but I guess that would be a mess afterwhile with like a million people chatting at once wow annoying.

A chat like that would be a menace, lag and other issues will occur but someone should I try it sometime.

Well it'd be very hard to get EVERY user in xat willing to visit a chat, and for no purpose, just to "see what it'd be like..." We'd probably have forien people, spam, outta controlness, and if we tried to make mods, one might go abusive and ban everybody, and then the idea is ruined. Plus we'd exceed the chat limit.

Yes, the chat limit is somewhere like 1,000 or 10,000.
Though no chat has that much, not even friendster which is rated number 1 popular chat in xat.
