My chat box messes up on me!

Im my chat box, i have to literally pound on my keys to get my letters to show up when im chatting in it. Its not my keyboard because my keys work fine everywhere else, just not in my chat box, also a few of my friends said they were having the same issues, is there any way i can fix this so i can chat in my chat box to with out having to pound my keys each time i type? Some one PLEASE help me:confused:

is there any other way? All my friends are chatting and i cant join in because of this, all i can do is sit there and watch or chat back but gotta pound on my keyboard since some of the letters wont pop up, then i have to go back and re-check the spelling before i hit enter, any idea how long it will take for the repair? Thanks!
