View Full Version : really tiring, serious help needed

I have just gotten a new computer and noticed that each different IP adress creates a new visitor name in the chat box. I would like to go back to using my original account for my chat box, and not make a completely different and new one.

If I was to make a new one, I would need a new name and such information and I don't want to do that, I just want my xat box back. I've tried loggin in in my other account and it says it has no records of me ever registering here. I'm becoming really frustrated and nothing I do seems to help the situation any more. I just want to use my account, my xat box, my username.

I've tried to send for a password request and I've tried every e-mail I have and it says there is no records of me ever being here, yet my box is perfectly fine. I've tried all my passwords and none of them work. It says to push back on the browser and try again or contact the administrator. After many attempts failed I tried to reach the administrator, only to find out that one must log in first in order to do so. Why say to do it after not being able to log in, if you have to log in in order to do so.

I'm confused, frustrated, and so lost I just want to log in to my Hawaiiangoddess89 account and chat using my user account Hawaiin_goddess on my xat box on my new computer, is that so much to wish for....

A moderator I believe gave me an e-mail to send to the administrator. Like I mentioned before xat suggested this only for me to find that you have to log in to do so. I sent an e-mail explaining or my problem and they replied, e-mail not sent, please refer yourself to the xat community or xat help. I'm so frustrated, xat is just sending me round in circles.... A moderator closed my thread so I made a new one....

I had a problem simular to this problem. In fact, this has happened to me yesterday while I was using another computer, a computer that does not save cookies. When I was on the new computer, I had lost my status, but not my account. Someone from the Help group banned me, because I accidentally cloned mysef (the new computer allows you to clone yourself, since it does not save cookies). On the other hand, I don't know if it was the computer that de-moded me, or the owner. Everyone in Help did not know either. I can talk to Darren and find out what's going on.

Ok first off.

Until you reached 100kb i be leave, it wont save your data. By right clicking on the chat screen, then going to settings an moving the gage/arrow to 1mb it will save your data.

If you don't move the gage/arrow up to 1mb, every time you refresh or go to a new chat you will be reseted.

Also your account may have been deleted, try to re register it, or go to your email an look for the old activation link...

My data was saved, right down to my avatar and background on my chat box.
I've tried to re-register using my account name and all that, it says it's already in use, but when I send for the password, it says it has no data of it ever being there. I've already tried using the confirmation e-mail information for it. It re routes me to here, then to the admistrator, then back here....

I guess no one can solve this problem..... I'm through with xat, how do you delete an account..... is there an easy way to do it?

Not to be rude but I don't see how that would help me delete my account....

Not to be rude but I don't see how that would help me delete my account....If your account was messed up or lost, only thing you can do is make another.

Don't whine about it, make a new account, an wait for the email activation, then activate it an start over. I have done this before as well, but its not xat that messes your account up, if you made the account, go to your email an look for the link it should have sent you. Maybe you entered the wrong email, maybe the wrong password. Also to reply to your signature problem.

When emailing xat.

You have to enter the title of the subject as *xat* if you don't the email will fail, this reason is to block the millions of spam emails that would be sent to xat email.


So, when you add the email an your problem make the subject title *xat*

xat <---- as the subject title

Otherwise it wont work an you will get the same message as you did.
