I just created a slide show for PC and cannot play it back. It is saved as a.xats file on my desktop and will only let me "preview: the slideshow. How do I view my slideshow so that it takes up the whole screen and also how do I copy my slideshow for others to view?

Did you create the slideshow? When you create the slideshow you will get an EXE file that you can run.
