Ummm...I was just wondering....I was reading some of the stuff on here and it says no matter where you are you can keep in touch with your friends on the CHAT BOX...well I switch computers often...and it kept changing my name...Is that because at the time I wasnt registered? And now that I am registered should I make a new chat box? By the way I like the idea of the chat box!!:)

Yes your name is stored in the PC so if you use a different PC you have to put your name in again.
We are considering adding logins but its not there at this time.

how can I find out what friend is leaving rude messages on my chat box? Is there any way or do I just need to delete it?

An advantage of the chat box is that you can stay fairly anonymous. It is also a disadvantage as you have seen.

All you can do at the moment is Ban them and delete their messages.

I feel that the chatbox itself should have a title that moderator and channel owners can change just like in irc :) or maybe a greeting message that welcome user joining the chatbox, in pm mode of course

We have added a groups feature where a chat box can have a name and description and its own page, an example is:

The best way of putting a title on your box is to put it on the background image. An example is here:

A welcome message is an interesting idea. I'll add that to the ideas list.

Assuming you already have a chat box:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a. Press "Edit your chat"
b. Press "Extra features"
c. This should take you to the web edit page
d. Scroll right down and press the button labeled:

"Convert my Chat Box into a Group"

And then type in your group details.

If you don't have a chat box

Why don't you want it to be a group?

I think its better if there's a small space left on top for the title, using the background as title inteferes with the reading of the text.. It would be better if the title and msges don't overlap yupps

its also possible to automatically dc spammers, eg. allow only 1 msg to be sent within one sec per person. It will help alot in a chatroom that's very full..

I also realized that channels at xatech's website cannot be resized?
