Problem With My Chat Box

I've had my Chat Box for a couple of weeks now. Then two the other day my computer crashed. now the Box only shows this loading pic. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w303/sarujo/load.jpg
This doesn't just appear on my box as it on others as well. Then I go to main page where I got the box hoping to fix the problem. When I changed the picture and saved the results the resulting box screen appears black. This is a real problem for me since alot of people I know online talk to via my Chat Box. So please help me someone, I don't know what to do.

Yes sorry about that. I think it was our fault, an upgrade that went wrong. The good news is that it probably worked for most of your visitors, you were just unlucky. Try it again today and it should be OK?

Is your computer's time and date set right?

PS do you know you can have your own background picture? Click Edit and go to Advanced Settings.

i have tried to download the chat box but it does not work for me. i have no one to talk to

Assuming you have successfully put a chat box on your page, you need to contact your friends and tell them to go on your page. If the do they will be able to talk to you.

Alternatively, you can go to the lobby on http://www.xatech.com and tell people about your site.

You can also turn on the lobby tab on your box.

Click the "Edit your Chat" button

Then click the "Advanced..." button

Scroll down the page and click the button that says:
"Turn ON lobby feature"

After you press the Advanced button, you'll need to press the
"Copy Link" button.

Then go your browser (Internet Explorer) click on the address bar and paste this into the address bar (Control-V) or Edit-Paste or Page->Paste.

Scroll down the page and click the button that says:
"Turn ON lobby feature"
