It seems all the mods are gone like the steve guy his last activity was in september last year and the only reason this forum is alive because of the few people that register (like me) and the fact that there's always like 103 guests on?

Well, some mods are still active, including Catrina, Tosan and Alan. And I don't think they would ever close this forum down because it's a helpful resource for people needing help with their chats or for posting xat suggestions and etc...

Well some of the mods are busy and others[like me] can't get on as much as they used too, but we are trying our best at the moment to help everyone in need even though the shortage of mod activity.

I try and get on as much as I can, but lately I've been troubled with my wedding coming up... Its not that this forum will ever go down, its xats forum and the administrators are found to keep it. They do update the forum sometimes, e.g. our moderator powers were restricted to no closing :) woohooo.

i agree it would be nice if there's some new fresh mods (: seems theres alot of GET XATS FREE posts witch really need to be gone from here :)

Nah, not all people with over 100 posts is helpful/deserve mod because who said those posts are in the help/problem sections. Could just be spam, never know.

There should really be a community public poll in which the admin chooses a select amount of people to be voted on to become mod, and the voters must have at least 25 posts to vote - in case a candidate decides to 'cheat'.

I think it should be something like 25+ post AND another requirement, joining date. This because someone really desperate might try to add some false votes... and new members might not be that familiar with the forum, so they might not know who really is worthy of the modship.

Yea but there's not many people on the forums who've been here for an extended amount of time AND have at least 25 posts. Most people who've been here for awhile have stopped coming, and the poll could last for around a month so there would be plenty of time for new users to get to know people around the forums.

I didn't see you on earlier so I couldn't give you the prize (Yes you got it right..AGAIN) and I'm making a newer one, that's not only limited to "ANIME" so I'd like to see you succeed in that one.

Subject Switch - Tosan why don't you and all the other moderators (That still come) try to get the admin to change some minor features in the AdminCp? Using signatures on here would be nice, plus the other features users have been suggesting on the forums that would take only 15 minutes WITH multi-tasking.

Anyways, ack is too busy with help too come on much and I haven't seen catrina and I rarely see the other existing mods so I guess I'm the most active on at the moment. Being a mod, I cannot access the admincp nor can any mod.

That's why the admin of the xat forums need to give the forums away to a trusty mod and even make a community chat, like help + trade.

Yes but what COULD be done is a configuration of a Super Moderators permissions allowing them to log into the AdminCP with their regular account info and have a 'limited' access to things they can edit, since I highly doubt they would make another administrator from a moderator.

And that's the other thing I had forgot about - A Vbulletin shoutbox. Everything doesn't have to be a xat chat does it? xD

No a xat chat would be better. A shout box for the forum would be a decent idea but having a "Community" chat, a chat like help/trade would be nice.

Well at least not entirely.. I'm talking about a forum shoutbox in which Tosan thinks a xat chat would be better and should be used as a replacement in which neither of them can be implemented except by the admins decision in which the admin will not consider until it is relayed to him in which it shall not be relayed to him until Tosan and other still-coming mods in which there are few of join together and suggest it.

Maybe just put a chat tab next to the log out button? So its like another tab and that chat on this forum, can be the same chat as a community chat. Just in two places, xat and the xat forums. Some active mods might also need of approve of this and not just one.
