Flash doesn't support animated GIFs. I believe you can use SWFs, I have seen it done once but not sure how you'd do it ...

Have the list of the "smilies" (emoticons) in GIF format on a page without a chat, better loading and just more convineint
The ah... list isn't even complete, it's missing ones like (*) and (is)...
There's no (punk) image?
If I post some 42x42 GIF (can you embed swf on this forum?) images... or somthing... would you consider them?
Catogorize the sounds into like "guns", "animals", "farts" (lol), etc.
Place links to these pages on the chat, or somewhere else as convinient
Skins, like whole diff. shape, color of test box, buttons, scroll
Complete list of avatar, that "more" stuff is kind of a pain...

Once the smiies are loaded once they should not to be loaded again. Also while I'm doing new ones, one by one its easier for me!

A lot of forum smilies are pretty naff. I'd like the smilies to have a consistent look. But post them and I might do ones that I like the look of.

Theres 1500 of them, not practical to put them all on one page. Much better to use your own anyway.

Exactly.. the ">" isn't working.. neither by pressing 'enter' on the keyboard, not by hitting the 'send message'-button. :confused:

Btw: I think there is no way to type the admin, mod etc. symbols, as they r not needed in any info messages. The 'member' symbol (with the link to edit ur profile) occurs in the "How to change your name" info message.

And another guess by myself (pls correct my if i'm wrong!):
I suppose the xat community doesn't want us to post info etc. symbols (e.g. to write "<inf7> I have kicked myself for no reasons"). Reasons why I suppose that is, that the '>' isn't working in any ways (clearly no 'accident'), and a previous post was deleted saying how to post the '>' character (though is method it's working anymore)..:rolleyes:

Yeah, sometimes the smilies that arent clickable dont show. They come back after awhile.
