The original bugs are now fixed however the devises are still painfully slow and 60% of the time still failing to load.. This is on wifi and Network (im on o2 like most iphone users in the uk)

I used my friends iphone 3g and it works perfectly.. Im guessing the older iphones arnt as good then..

If You are having problems with the iphone make sure to upgarde to :

IPHONE 3G SOFTWARE VERSION 3.0 OS (y)

this will fix glitched and make faster loading


this is also confirmed on a jailbroken device :)

and yeah it unlocks the bluetooth feture on ipod touch devises... crafty apple were hideing that from us wernt they.. was gonna buy it tomorow qhwn i get a itunes card.. itl work out better then billing to phone bill..;)

I'm having problems with my iPod touch, it seems I get the the signup screen fine but when I enter my Username and password then group, it says "Bad Username"?

I have an iPod touch (2G) with the latest updates and such, and have the ability to play flash movies (Check youtube), I think it should work for my iPod but I think I'm doing something wrong.

And if you want to download 3.0 you gotta pay $9.95 USD but it seems there is no new gadgets that will help boost your chances of running Xat on your mobile phone. If you have enough money to buy the 3.0 go for it, but I doubt it will help you get on Xat since the upgrades for 3.0 don't look to great example: Buying movies, landscape keyboard, bluetooth stereo, peer to peer gaming, and spotlight search. My advice is to wait it out and make sure you ipod is up to date with the latest software apple has graciously provided us with then try to get on Xat, there is no reason to believe installing 3.0 will make Xat mysteriously work for your ipod so why even waste your money yet?

Please exuse my double post but just wanted to add that I have successfully managed to access Xat.com on my iPod touch. Remind you, it is not jailbroken and I do not have 3.0 OS. Surprisingly despite some peoples doubt and speculation I have been in help on my ipod for almost 30 minutes now with no disconnections\timeouts etc. I have taken 3 screenshots on my ipod for proof.
People it is not impossible to get on Xat with a regular iPod touch (2G), I don't know who started the rant about iPods never going to work on Xat but it is false, just as I said before I tested it again, it had to be possible. Also thanks to TVkid5000, he told me what to put in the fields, I was entering my email because nobody stated what to put in that field, and upon entering my ID name, I got right in.
Also TVkid if you are having problems getting in with your ipod try to fix it or figure out what the problem is, why tell people they are just going to get errors upon arrival?

Possible to get on Xat with no problems on iPod touch (2G): True.

Just briefly hold down the power button on the top of your iTouch. While it's down, press the ... uhh, well, the only other button the thing has :confused:. The one on the front. And that's all. The screen should flash momentarily, and your screenshot should be saved in a new folder under Photos.

Appropriately, it's called Saved Photos. When you want to get your photos from your iPhone/iPod to your Mac (Which you always talk about so much), without having to mess around with syncing in iTunes, you can just pop open Image Capture -- it comes standard with OS X -- and pick the ones you want.

Yeah, I have found xat mobile very nice. PCing, banning and kicking would be a huge bonus though. It may be hard, but I see it as possible.
