I had a few problems on the blackberry storm.
Using the enter key didnt work (intentional..?)
I couldnt see anyone type, only what i say, nor do i think it even went through.
When i hit the back button i got Error: null.
I dont know how to get screenshots of my phone. But I think it will get really annoying soon not able to use the enter button and having to close the keyboard and press send. Also maybe making a straight out java app for the future?

Could you use a camera and take a picture of what it looks like for you?

On the new os 5.0. It doesn't work at all. The editboxes for the username pass and group are unclickable.
On opera mini though, works... Barely. When you press sign in it takes about 2 minutes to load th chat. And when I type something and hit send, takes 2 minutes then says link not accessible.
Starting to get very annoyed that I can't use mobile.

I will take a look into this as soon as i upgrade to OS 5.0
Which model BB do you have?
I have the 9530.
And, 5.0 os was leaked and you can install it now.
9500 (http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/9500_omadrmEastAsia_PBr5.0.0_rel176_PL4.2.0.17_A5. 0.0.140.exe) 9530 (http://megaupload.com/?d=38EXC96D) If you need a password for extracting its raysource
If you use the 9530, once you install the OS onto your PC, go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall RIM Internal Apps 5.0. If you leave this installed on your PC, when you update your device Qunicy will get loaded up too (RIM's beta tracking program).
I'll warn you now none of the IM/Social Networking apps work, along with VZ Navigator.. yet
If you need any help with it you can PM me.
*OS Disclaimer - This is an unofficial release. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). Here is a app called SnapScreen (for the BlackBerry Storm 9530), in which you can use to take screenshots of your phone. It's a trial version, but lets you take up to 30 screenshots which should be more than enough for us to help you with your problem. Click Here (https://store.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=236&osId=2074§ionId=0&catalog=0&productType=2&platformId=5&productId=221837) to download.
OR if you wish, there's a app called ZonaSnap, which works on the BlackBerry and is unlimited and free, but states that "Storm users should disable the compatibility mode".
ZonaSnap is a new free application developed by Javiergv (Staff of ZonaBlackBerry) which allows you to capture the screen of your BlackBerry and then gives you a range of options such as save, send as email and send to Photobucket. It's the union of these features what makes ZonaSnap unique. ZonaSnap is very easy to use and also highly practical. You can get it Here (http://www.mobihand.com/download.asp?id=32297).
Minimum Requirements:
* BlackBerry Device with OS 4.3 or higher
Notes:
* Must enable all permissions requested by the application.
* Storm users should disable the compatibility mode.
Features:
* Two modes of execution: from the main icon, it is best to configure the application in one of the convenience keys; or from the menu item, this item will be added to your BlackBerry menu by default after installation.
* Very easy to use.
* Notifies that the capture was taken with a brightness of the LED and a short vibration.
* Preview of the snap.
* Send to Photobucket, ideal for people that host images on the web.
* Image Code, After the capture is sent to Photobucket, you will receive a notification in a window reporting that the image code has been received and has been inserted into Memopad.
* Send as email.
* Save Capture, This option allows you to save the screenshot to the SD card, if the SD card is not installed on your unit, the capture is saved in the device´s memory.
*All screenshots are stored in the format: Capture on (Date) at (Time). Jpg
* Very useful for discussing problems with the device, like an error code, symbols, among others.

The 5.0 os or xat? I dont recommend using the 5.0 yet, just for the fact that it has no IM support.

Ok I downgraded to the official release for bb storm 4.7.0.148... And it still doesnt work...
I found that if you go into a larger room itll take longer and time out, smaller rooms it works though.
This is opera mini only, the official blackberry browser still doesnt work.
