Use of kick or ban

We can't kick or ban on mobile. Will there be a way that we can kick or ban, and use of the powers, gag, invisible, and so on?

Hopefully in the future the mobile version will be updated enough to be able to let us kick and ban.. But its still in beta now meaning testing and there learning new things (: basically starting xat again.. but for mobile.

I don't really care that you are unable to kick\ban on Xat mobile at the moment. If you are going on a vacation or what not and you have no access to your PC or just feel like laying down without the hassle of messing with your laptop, this is a great idea, and when you're in a situation like this you wont be complaining about mod powers\PC's and all that, you'll be thankful you even made it on Xat.

Plain and simple, Xat mobile rocks, but it will kick more *** when the new features are added, for now be thankful for what you got. :D

Personally i dont see the point of going on xat while on vacation.Thats the whole point of a vacation to get awat from xat chill and relax ;).Not everyone is that addicted that their mobile phones are a life support machine:o

Or another way to settle it is us moderators.

And m.xat.com/ can be used for people who's flash don't work properly and so on. Just not many features that are on the flash object.

Yet Xat should also try something though text messaging. MSN does it with its mobile project. Where you can chat with your friends list contacts through text messaging to their xat private chat or something.

Like with MSN Text Mobile. You send "Cl" to a number, and it replies with a list of contacts that are online. Then you reply to that with the number of the contact and an intro message (or no message at all if you want to see who it really is) and then you start a convo.

I think this will work for those (like me) who have a texting phone but not a smart phone. I have a Motorola Hint QA30

V0.01 Is the current version of Xat Mobile beta (m.xat.com)-- meaning it has not come very far to release all of the things that the current Xatech has (Xat.com). So if they were to just put it all in and it wasen't compatible on your phone, undesirable actions could occur such as application freeze or constant sending of messages which would be horrible if you didn't have unlimited messaging or unlimited internet. So sadly things must be taken one step at a time before they can be completed and implemented into the mobile version of Xat. if you have an iphone dont use xatmobile. download adobe flash player onto your iphone and get onto xat as you normaly would

James I haven't found any way to get adobe flash on the Iphone without jail-breaking it... But why don't you want to jailbreak it? Jail-breaking is legal since you bought the Iphone and its yours now, as long as it's not used for illegal purposes. The method below is one I found but it didn't state whether it had to be jail-broken or not... They also said to back-up the state of your Iphone just in case you want to restore it to the way it was without the flash.


1. Open Cydia and under manage tap on sources.

2. Add this source to you list or sources http://d.imobilecinema.com/

3. Once added open source and install all 3 of the programs and hit the home button.

4. After your done turn on flash player and open safari and check out safari with flash player.

5. You can turn on/off flash player from your bossperfs or sbsettings.

Yeah, on my Motorola Hint QA30, I bought an internet pass, I can view a Xat Chat fine, (normal URL) but it locks up trying to download the flash media. Loads Java just fine though.

Trying to load m.xat.com? That was epic failure for the poor phone... :(

It uses Openwave 7 with BREW and JAVA capabilities.
