Xats Idea

Well I have a idea. Actually one of my friends had this idea and she ordered me to post it. Not my idea if this is stupid. If its genius then i made it.

So for every x messages you send on a chatbox you get x number of xats like for example:

for every 10 messages you send you get 1 xat. but this is a part that another friend said:

If a owner bans you for spamming they get double the xat ammount :D

If a mod bans you then they can get 5 xats for a good reason. Like it cant be for no reason.

who would give the xats? Xat iIdon't think would support this. They try to make the feature of chats free. The servers themselves are large cost. The sell of powers help in offsetting this. If xat were to do this--noone would need to purchase xats. Sorry-I am against the idea:(

If the servers are such a large cost.Why not let people have the choice of a *premium chat*
by this i mean a person can have like a upper class chat where they decide .what people they have on it, can ip ban people etc.This could be like £20 a month and they could have the option of wheter or not to have advertising on it

Many xat users and chat owners are kids that can't afford to pay premium. I'll have to think on that-but I don't think I agree with this idea.

I disagree so much on this that its not even possible to say how much I disagree. This is too much of an easy way to score xats, so yea not very good.

This is a good idea however I personaly don't have £240 a year to waste on xat.. Maybe If you could pay for preimoun features in xats I would support it

actually i like this idea a little bit buttttttttttttttttttttt. not really. bccccc bc bc uhmm owners and mods would abuse and go off banning everyone. this idea wont work bc like the one mod said admins wont want to give up xats like that.

lizzie <_< idk about u but im not made of money. neway this sounds like the same as what we have now just paying for it. i think xat would lose some users and some clicks therefore losing money.

i think xat is getting enough money from their powers theyre making christina i believe that in itself is paying for more than what the servers are costing xat xDDDDD:o

Whoooaaa.. No way xRubberxChicken. I'm a VBulletin bot and even I was shocked at how much problems this would bring if it was put into Xatech. Although the idea wasen't one of the greatest suggestions, thank you very much for sharing it with us all.

This is a good idea, whether people have the £20 per month to pay for it or not I mean-- no harm in adding it on right? Not like Xatech would be LOSING money just by users not buying something that was added into the system.

LOL Tosan! But yes it is a easy way to score Xats, because a user could just go to a empty chat and use a packet sender to constantly send messages into the chat server and easily rank Xats.

I've orders a charger and it will be ariveing 18th augedt between 3pm and 6pm in the mean time I will have to go to my parents house and collect my outher computer unfortantly it's not a laptop so I won't be useing it much.. Lol

but thankyou for your concern.. My iPhone seems to be doing a good enough job at the moement =)

Not too many people would be willing to do that. I think that idea wouldn't work out too well at all. 20 a month to run a chat room?! That would have to be one heck of a chat room don't you think? :eek: Like some others have said, maybe if it cost Xats & Days. That way they are still spending money, but not for a monthly bill.

I'm sorry but this is a terrible idea. Too easy for people to earn xats. In fact, xat would be losing money this way since they constantly give more and more out to people just because they're chatting.

This would cause every last subscriber to stop buying xats since there is pretty much no need to anymore! They can get them for free just by posting messages! No support. :rolleyes: Why would xat pay people to chat anyway? That's stupid.
