cant log in to room

hi hope someone can help me the pool site that i play on has a chat room, for the last 36 hours i havent been able to log in, everytime i try i get the folowing messgae

I still have the same problem. I've tried everything that I could think of. I turned off my FW (ZA Pro) and it still doesn't connect. I've set IE7 to use Sun Java, and it also doesn't connect.

I've tried using Firefox and Opera, but still get the same results.

Any ideas to get this going would greatly be appreciated...

PROBLEM IS BACK.
I'm now experiencing it again. This needs to be sorted out because many people are having the same problem, has XAT banned a whole IP range or something !?

i am still having the same issue too --- it's been going on for about 4 days now, i have no clue how to fix it but i have tried several different things including going as far as tunneling through a proxy, but nothing has worked --- i have talked to a few family members and friends under completely different connections to give it a shot to see if they worked for them, and they are having the same issue

i think xat have tried to fix this problem cus i can connect now but if i try to change my name or write anything the chat will just disconnect me, i havent been able to talk on it for almost a month

1) You must have Adobe.
2) Your internet connection must be good.
3) Click on chat with right button of mouse ---> click on a file --> allow to get more than 1mb from xat
4) try seeing if it happens to every chat box
5) Contact info@xat.com if you are still having problems.

5) for some reason i cant connect to xat.com i have to type web.xat.com in the address bar so the link u gave me will give me a problem loading page

i can give u details on how its affecting me though....
i can see the chatbox. it signs me in automatically now and i can see users talking.
my old settings are gone, so my old names and pictures are gone now...
whenever i try to talk or try to change my name, the chat signs me out automatically and i cant sign back on unless i refresh the page.
whenever i refresh the page my name always changes.

i can also give you my thoughts
i heard mods here have given advice that it might be your firewall but i highly doubt that as it wouldnt let us even see the chatbox if it did try to block the chat.
could hackers mightve done something to us like change users settings?
maybe if you told us how to delete our temp files?
maybe changing ips? note* i dunno how to change mine cus i got a router

Are you saying you can access web.xat.com but now xat.com, www.xat.com or xatech.com ?

I recently spoke with a support tech (Who recently stopped replying to my emails I might add) who gave me the same instructions for this issue. Everything pinged and tracert'd okay, but I still cannot access any Xat.com pages or chats.

seriously, a whole lot of us at home cant connect to xat. are you gnna find us an alternative while u try to fix the problem?
i think deleting our temp files from xat will help. but i dont know where to find em.

packets sent are the same as packets received but the issue for me isnt trying to access xat.com but to access the xat chat box's.

connection problems started approx 1 month ago.

i have norton anti virus and internet security & spybot search and destroy.

my isp is tiscali

the problem is from home computer

problem trying to access xat.com but web.xat.com works fine.

first of all, i uninstalled spybot a few days ago and it hasnt worked.
i said not being able to go on xat.com or www.xat.com wasnt the case cus web.xat.com worked for me. it was just the connection error from the chat which didnt work.
xat.com didnt work for me a long time ago, way before there were connection problems

Serioulsy,share the fix.I just got Internet today on my dads new computer.And i cant connect to ANY chatbox.This pc is a Emachines,Windows Vista,AMD Sempron processor with a 10 mega-byte connection.My isp is OneLink.And my pc has Windows Vista Home Edition.Please,someone,help me.I'm mod at a site,and they need me,er,i need them :rolleyes: lol.So,can you share the fix?:)

ok the two registration problems with email are yahoo and hotmail they take 24 hours or so because i used many hotmails and they dont work but i am back so it was techno eariler and i got screwed up but the yahoo and hotmial are bad so dont use them

I have a solution!

Ok. I have Visual Basic 6.0. I made a program that links to the .swf of xat chats. When you type in the 'FlashVars' of the chat, you will be able to enter that certain chat! I don't know if I should post this, and where to post it in the forums, but this would help a lot.

BTW, I'll make a new account since this username sucks.
