Default About the ban system

I had a moderator that went rogue, so I took away his status and banned him. When I came back the next day, he was back as moderator again?

I do not understand this as the chat admin is the only one that can add mods and remove them.

Oh dear, that shouldn't have happened.

I take it you unmodded them?

Can you let me know if it happens again?

Chris.

Well I can't seem to ban a mod directly, so I did de-mod him first before applying the ban. I will let you know, if this happens again as you say.

Ahh yes , that maybe true. You probably need to un-mod them first.

Actually it might've been a moderator trying to get another mod in trouble.

No he's saved the Mod file for that room and keeps re copying it back when they de mod him. Reseting the room will create a new Pass in the Files so the old one's won't work anymore.
Safest way to gaurentee he won't ever make a comeback.

Yep that is most likely what he did. Seeing some people know how to use a sol editor he most likely saved the pass of being a mod and put the pass in every time he wasn't a mod. I believe that is a violation of TOS in which you can't modify anything form the service xat provides: "You may not:
modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any portion of the service". So, either he edited his cookies file or it was a glitch. Also, if you feel a certain owner or mod isn't right for the job the safest way to guarantee he/she wont be an owner or mod is just to reset chat.
