Possibilty of Special Resizing or Edition

Few days ago I created a new Group (HonfiMenekultek).
It is more popular as I think it first. In the main time there are aprox. 30-40 tags in the same time and discussing each other. In this case the wrote messages change very quickly, we have no any time, to read :-(
My questions are:
1. Is there any possiibility to make slowly the running of the messages?
or
2. I resized the chatbox a screen size, 1024x780 px. In this case we can read more messages in the same time (unfortunately not much more), but the writing panel is under on the PC screen, so we have to chose, reading or writing?
So, is there any possibility to change the size the panels inside of the chatbox? I mean, where we find the Smiles, between the reading and writing panels, it would be smaller horizontaly, and the reading panel would be larger...

I am interested in every good tips, what solve this problem. (This changing we can use on our group's website.)
